Rankin Band participates in Pekin Band Festival!
What a great day!

On Tuesday, March 18th, 7th/8th grade students in the Rankin band participated in the first ever Pekin Band Festival.
Bands from Rankin, Edison, Broadmoor, and Georgetown combined to form one very large band. Under the direction of Mrs. Skelton, PCHS Band Director, students rehearsed 4 pieces and then performed them in an evening concert.
Students spent the day at PCHS working with the high school band, learning how to better play their instruments. It was a great day for everyone involved!
